What a thrill it was for me to talk with Jacques Laffite at Monza in 2006.  I asked if I could get apicture taken with him and he was so nice about it.  While we were getting our picture taken, I mentioned that he was one of my wife's favorite drivers.... after the picture was taken, he asked if we could have another taken as he wanted " to look really good for your wife,"...... he was a howl.  There is the story about how he wasn't happy for the early (9:00am practice sessions for the 1984 Dallas Grand prix....so he should up for practice in his pajamas...... I saw Jacques win at Montreal in 1981 in a monsoon......
