Patrick Tambay........... he is best known for joining ferrari after the death of Gilles in 1981.......  he won at Germany that year and had a great victory at Imola in 1982.....where the tifosi had painted messages to Tambay imploring him to win this race for his best friend...Gilles.  Tambay not only drove in F1, but won the Can Am ( the Can Am series based on the old F5000 cars..... late 70's and early 80's...... not to be confused with the real Can Am that dies after the 1974 season...) championship twice.  Here are some pics I took of Patrick Tambay......
